Footloose (7th-12th Grade, SUMMER 2026)
Join us in the 80s this Summer! It’s 1984, and teenager Ren McCormack moves from Chicago to a small Midwestern town where he soon discovers that dancing and rock music have been outlawed. Struggling to fit in to his new situation, Ren teams up with his new friend Willard Hewitt and preacher’s daughter Ariel Moore to loosen up this tiny town— but standing in his way are loads of adults including Reverand Shaw Moore who wants to see it all stopped. Based on the movie of the same name, this 90-minute version will have your dancing and cutting loose the whole time with iconic numbers!
SUMMER 2026: 7th-12th Grade Students (entering 7th to leaving 12th)
Rehearsals held Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
First Rehearsal: Monday, July 20th
Rehearsals: 7/20-7/31 (2-week intensive style process)
Due to the nature of the studio renting out alternative venues for performance, possible venues can be located across and around the Quad Cities area. By registering you are committing and agreeing to travel to whichever performance venue is available and selected by DTS.
Tech Days: Thursday, 7/30 & Friday, 7/31 during class times
